hello guys! new skin! ok, actually, new blog. i just switched URLs with the other one. so all the previous posts are on the other blog.
i bet you guys are thinking 'i thought she doesn't like pink'
well, i don't usually like pink, but i really liked this skin so...
anyway, i was super fed up with my previous blog, that i just didn't have the mood to update.
so lets recap shall we?
VJChoir teaparty was a blast! the year1s made up fake names[which were totally obvious btw] as part of tradition. haha it was hilarious (:
there were wet games too. so by the time we finished playing games at all the stations, we looked like we were dunked into the sea.
even though it was painfully tiring, we had tonnes of fun! especially the so called 'interview' after carol auditions.
ok i'm too lazy to elaborate further.
moving on...
choir pracs have been super fun. although, there were many times i just felt like sleeping on the floor then and there.
oh on monday, after morning prac and most year1s left, the DSAs had afternoon prac with the other year0 carollers.
but after morning prac, sops and altos had to stay back to work on magic song number 5, the spirit of hunted animals or something. so the DSA guys left for lunch. and by the end of prac, i was the only DSA. how sad!
but i called ruby and and she agreed to meet me for lunch at parkway, since she lives only like 10mins from VJ (:
after like 10mins of contemplating, we finally decided to have lunch at mos burger. and the year1s who we 'conducting' afternoon prac were lunch-ing there too.
so we sat next to them. 'them' being: pock thong, jia sheng, olivia, sherman, wen siu, cedric, wan ping, jun liang, may , rhoda and zhi yang. i can't remember if abel was there or not. hm...
anyway, so afternoon practice went all the way till like 5pm.
thank goodness i had decided not to go for choir chalet after that. i would have probably just slept like a log the entire time there.
yesterday's prac was ok. after morning prac, i went to parkway to meet my lunch date, ruby (: she offered to be my lunch date again! haha so sweet (:
other year0s joined for afternoon practice and we spilt into our carolling groups. mei xuan, jenna, syukri[thanks for the spelling edwin (:] and i are in sherman's group (: vanessa, ruby and jemimah are in zhi yang's group (:
sorry to all the tenor and bass year0s. i have no idea who is in whose group =P
apparently zhi yang's group did sing very well yesterday ):
come on, jia you year0s! you guys can do it (: just go home and learn, memorise and practice like siao first! then during prac, change your voice texture and colour to match the year1s! (:
i think sherman's group did pretty good. after going through most of the songs, we sat in a circle and tried memorising the easier songs first. i've memorised quite a few songs already (:

BUT i also have to memorise Leonardo[dammit, i think i'm going die], Yoru and Mate Saule[pronounced as maa-tay sau-lay]
the bad news is that i've friggin lost my Mate Saule score! i'm so careless. i texted olivia and may if they saw an abondoned score lying around. then jun liang texted me saying he'll pass it to me next practice. yay (: but i dunno if its my score or a new score.
i should learn to be more responsible. i think i've been improving on my punctuality. ever since that day i was 16mins late[no thanks to bus numbers 13 and 16, for which i had to wait 15mins to arrive]. i had to pay a friggin $7 fine! damn. since then, i've always been on time. well, i reach like 30seconds just before prac starts. well, its better than being late (:
oh speaking of lateness, sherman came like 92mins late for prac yesterday! haha[sorry sherman, i couldn't resist] he was still sleeping when may called him at around 9.30+ he probably wouldn't have come if she hadn't called =P
after prac, sherman's group decided to play games. one of which was 7up. the first 2 people to kena will have to do a forfeit. marcus[year1] kena 4 times already, and someone else and i kena only twice. i was like praying i didn't screw up. and guess what?
i did [damn]
then we had to do this dance kinda thingy [for those in 4O, its the move sherri and soleil were doing after grad ceremony on stage]
its was like damn embarrassing can? hilarious, yes. especially if you're watching it. but come on! its embarrassing! even more so when people were commenting on how we have to look into each others eyes. i swear, i would've scratched -their- eyes out.
ok maybe not. i'm not violent or mean. but still!
then nicole still asked: "anyone got video camera?"
oh god.
aiyah. it was funny though, no matter how embarrassing[i've used this word so may times in this post] it was.
after prac i was totally poofed.
i just went home and like slept.
then got up to memorise carols and scores.
oh! and on friday theEIGHT, excluding sonam[who is sitting happily in malaysia with her cousins] met at tampines mall to have dinner, since yi min was leaving for US the next morning at 4am.
soleil dragged along her dance partner[johan issit?]. sherri was supposed to bring dannyboy too but in the end she shooed him off.
we had tonnes of fun, playing games in the arcade while waiting for a table for 8 in pastamania.
who knew that throwing tiny plastic balls at the screen to burst balloons/destroy spaceship etc. could be so tiring?
i had to leave early though, because i had prac the next day AND i live in toa payoh):

OH! btw daddy's coming back from nigeria today! yay! (:
but now i have to share the bed again ): AND put up with my dad's constant nonsensical antics. haha
well, now i've gotta go. i need to move all the old fans in the house, outside, near the rubbish bin. AND help assemble the new ones together.
and memorise more scores after that.
so i'll post later today, or tomorrow.

oh! alvina and i are trying to get whoever is still in singapore to go ice skating! hence the picture.
although, my chances of being able to skate even a TINY bit like kristi yamaguchi does is like negative infinity.
i'll more than likely fall on my butt if i let go of the railing =P
