i realised i totally forgot to post about year0 outing on christmas eve.

we were all supposed to meet at city hall at 11.30. and the only people who turned up before/on time was ruby and surprisingly, me. then joshua[the tkss guy who indrie calls leonardo], cheng wei[sorry if i spelt it wrongly], syukri and vanessa came.

the others were going to come late, so we proceeded to marina square first and spent about 20mins deciding what movie to watch, and get tickets. then went to some restaurant[can't remember the name] where i only ordered a drink. so i was like staring at everyone while they were eating, since i had already had brunch at home. omg the guys are damn hilarious can? vanessa was surprised that cheng wei was a tenor, and not a bass.

after food, went to play pool for a while. first game was girls vs. guys. the girls were leading at first, if you don't count the numerous fouls. but in the end the guys won. aiyah.

sometime in between, jenna and the rest of the guys joined us and marcus crashed. he where got year0?

then cheng wei, ruby and syukri were in one team and joshua, vanessa and i in the other.

and our group actually won. but for like a spilt second. because when joshua pocketed the black ball, he accidentally pocketed the white one as well -.-

but it was fun nonetheless (:

went to catch 'yes man', which is a pretty good movie.

haha whatever.

took a couple of pictures after the movie and then left for our respective venues for carolling.

i was so damn bloody cold since halfway through the movie. and even worse at ritz. i felt like i was living in the north pole.

so i went back to marina to hunt for a jacket, of course with my mum's permission. i'm not one to buy things over $10 on impulse.

but i already knew that i probably couldn't find one because hello! we're talking about marina square here. the cheapest one i could find was like $33. and no way in hell was i going to spend that kind of money for a jacket just because i forgot to bring one from home. and although i would definitely use the jacket often, i still didn't feel like spending $33 on a jacket.

so i hung outside ritz for a while to try and de-frost myself, before going in and freezing myself again. but it was raining, and not only was it cold outisde, it was wet as well. so defeated, yet again, i went back into ritz.

kinda bored there, seeing as the year0 guys, together with marcus left somewhere. so i decided to give neerajha a call. the poor thing is rotting at home, with this old grandma lady, [who isn't even related to her] staying at her house till the 29th.

and thats not the worst bit.

if she's out after 6pm, the lady thinks she's out with a non-existent 'boyfriend' -.-

so she can't even go out with shamini properly.

and the old hag thinks using the internet is illegal! has she been living under a rock? 'cause it sure seems like it.

so thanks to the old bat, neerajha is practically under lock down at home. its like pre-O level time. just minus the studying.

in case you haven't noticed, i'm venting for her. since she can't exactly use the computer until someone hits the granny on the head and gives her a concussion.

and she can't even escape to aarthi's [her cousin] house which is like 6 floors down. because she is also entertaining guests at the moment.

i swear if some random person like that decides to come over to my house, i would scream at her to get out of the house. i don't care if she tells the entire world that i'm a rotten person. i want freedom in my own house. tell her to find her own place if she insists on bossing people around.

its annoying. i totally understand how neerajha is feeling. i think now its time to change the 'hijack shamini' plan to 'hijack neerajha' plan. don't you agree meanie?

okok major side tracking. where was i?

oh yes.

after one carolling session at ritz lobby, zhi yang needed one alto and one sop there at raffles. so they decided syukri and i should go to raffles.

and it was a pain the the butt having to walk through marina, through city link, around raffles city and roam around raffles hotel till we found miss sandhya.

now normally i wouldn't be too annoyed with this. but seeing how i was wearing the gown the entire time, it was super difficult to maneuver around people in the crowded place. thank goodness i remembered to change back to slippers before proceeding to raffles hotel. i would have DIED i tell you.

it was nice singing at raffles (: although we kinda screwed up jingle bells =P

we were supposed to sing at the courtyard[always the last venue for carolling] but since it was raining, we sang at the entrance at north bridge road. but apparently, the guests booked tables at the restaurant for dinner just to hear us sing. so we stayed back for a while to sing at the courtyard as well. and although i totally enjoyed the extra carolling, raffles better pay up or else. i mean VJ choir is a really good choir, and our rates are supposed to be directly proportional to our standard right? although, i realised, the school will get the money. not the choir

hm i think thats it for now. now i have to go get my hair dyed.

no seriously.

i'm applying henna on my hair. but i'm not doing it for the mere purpose of dyeing my hair. it helps my hair grow better and healthier. but at the same time, my hair will turn reddish-brown.

hopefully i will not look obvious when i start schooling again in february next year.

because the last time i applied henna, was at the end of january this year. and if i step into sunlight, you can still see a little bit of reddish glow on my hair.

anyway, my mum is helping me dye it. since my hair is too long for me to apply it properly on my own. but i have to wait till she finishes her ice cream -.-

so i have to go change into a dark colour t shirt. because right now i'm wearing white, and the henna will stain it very badly and permanently.
