it has been raining practically the entire day so far.
my mum and my sister went to sentosa with the yishun bhajan group today.
i was supposed to go, but since jun liang smsed that there would be a gown 'fitting' [for lack of other,more appropriate words] tomorrow in school, my mum told me i could stay at home.
the tea break for the sentosa trip was pot luck. and my mum had to make butter and cheese sandwiches. but there was absolutely no bread, and very little butter and cheese at home.
so i had to go get them from the shop behind my block without bathing...
yuck.
oh come on, it was 11am!
and i only got up at 10.25am.
it was raining like crazy and it was pretty cold out there. and me, being the genius that i am, wore my shortest pair of shorts and a pair of slippers.
at least i wore a jacket so whatever.
i ended up taking 10mins to walk to the shop and another 10 to come back home. the slippers were practically floating on the water and i had to move at a snail's pace to keep from falling.
after that i helped my mum make the sandwiches while she cooked lunch.
my dad had a minor back injury, so he also didn't go to sentosa. but he dropped my mum and sister near vivo.
so i left about 20mins after they did to go shopping.
and i wore the stupid slippers AGAIN.
ugh.
anyway, i managed to get whatever i wanted.
the shop i went to didn't sell individual colours for eye shadows, so i got the black and white one for $6.90. it was supposed to be $8.90, but they were having a sale (:
i also got some pink lip gloss which was supposed to be $16.90. after the discount it was $9.90, which still may not be -entirely- reasonable, but i can tell it will last me for a long time (:
my court shoes are LOVE (: (:
i got them at $25.90 which is reasonable. especially since i can use it for special occasions like sandhya akka's wedding next year (: its size 39! haha.
i usually get like 36-38 for shoes, depending on the cut of the shoe. but since these shoes have 3inch heels [i actually went and measured], i got size 39. and because there was no more stock of size 38.
i didn't use the $50 voucher in the end though. because the shop where i can use it, is quite far away from toa payoh. so i'll be using it for school shoes and sport shoes next year (:
oh and i finally got another black tube for $3.
spaghetti strap slips are annoying and i can't keep using one tube all the time.
so that means i've spent $45.70.
hm...
not bad leh!
especially since i'm extremely positive that i'll be using all of these quite often.
now all that's left to do is gown 'fitting' tomorrow, and threading some time after that (:
oh! meanwhile i have to plan ice skating. for this sunday (:
ok, now i'm off to practise the remaining 20-30% of leonardo, yoru and mate saule.
