the first couple of days was pure laziness.
but after that i was busying myself test-baking walnut cookies.
ok so that's no excuse for not updating ):
anyway, carolling on the 11th and 13th was funn (:
although my heels took about 3 days to get accustomed to XD
i swear indrie is the most hyperactive and retarded person i've ever met [i mean that in a good way].
jomel+si ting+indrie+me=...
well i don't know what it equals to. but we attract a LOT of attention since we're either
1)laughing extremely loud[usually thanks to indrie];
2)doing something random and silly or;
3)singing christmas carols LOUDLY on the bus[like on the 11th]
lol
anyway apart from carolling at marina square, there was also CCAB concert or World Youth Choir Festival concert[whichever it is] at VCH
it was an awesome experience (:
we had practice in school, followed by a lunch break, after which we head back to school to change and board the bus to VCH, where chorale was waiting.
indrie was going crazy with foundation and leonardo. seriously. she wrote the word 'leonardo' on her forehead using the foundation. obsessed much? =P
sound check wasn't all that great we sounded a bit void of emotion.
but the actual performance was much better i suppose (:
during dinner[between sound check and performance] and after performance everyone was camwhoring like siao. seriously, it was like madness. especially after the performance, since we were the last jc choir to perform and hence, the only ones at the holding room when we came back.
but before camwhoring, choir and chorale sang no man is an island. their 'theme song' kinda thing (:
after all the madness, indrie and i went to the mrt station together. and we met kenneth at one of the traffic lights. and we were talking about random stuff on our way home.
there's carolling today at marina square again (: but there's prac at 3 at siglap for MS before that.
OH! i LOVE my walnut cookies i test-baked yesterday. YUMMY (:
although, i do need to improve on the shape of the cookie =P
now i need to test-bake chocolate chip cookies as well. which i would probably do tomorrow or on saturday (:
and OMG my shopping list is like super duper uber long!
excluding school stuff for next year[which includes school bag, wallet and school shoes], i also need to get:
1)another black jacket[because the one i have right now is too thin and is 'holy', and class jacket is too big and thick and heavy]
2)colourful socks[although i already have socks, they're all white, no thanks to school, and i will be extremely happy if i can find a pair of rainbow sock (:]
3)slippers [that DO NOT make me slip and fall when i'm walking on wet surfaces. seriously. every time i walk in those things i try to walk as slow as a tortoise, but i still manage to almost fall on my butt ):]
other things like an ipod nano, laptop and a puppy can wait [although i will never be able to get a puppy while i'm still living in the same house as my mum].
but my mum promised me that she would get me any laptop i want if i get 6points (: so even though i shouldn't be worrying myself fretting over my results NOW, i still pray for my 6points (:
i can live without an ipod. heck, i've been doing that for 2years, ever since my ipod mini got corrupted ): so if i can, i would probably trade it in and pay and extra 50bucks or so for an ipod nano. but right now, i don't really need it. i would probably try and get one in late january or early february, because i need my music to help me drown out the loud noises when i start studying again.
hm...quite a lot of things leh.
plus i need to buy more ingredients for the cookies, greasing paper, cookie cutters and small containers to put the cookies into.
wah. i'm going to go broke.
but i have 500bucks to spend on school stuff for next year. so i'm deciding whether i should use the remaining money for other stuff, or let it sit in my bank collecting interest.
OH! and i need to get my santa baby's present too! and goodness knows i haven't a clue as to what to get him.
and to think i was actually considering spending loads of money on dress materials, fabric scissors and a mannequin.

*sigh*
one of my new year resolutions for next year: stop spending unnecessarily

i think i should get going now. i have loads of stuff to do including helping my mum to clean the kitchen, before i start getting ready to leave for prac.
